If part of the forecast is empty or old, the message on the screen tells you why.

The line at the bottom of the forecast

The app says Cause What to do
Offline - live updates paused Β· weather from … The phone has no connection. You see the last weather the app loaded. Connect to the internet. The forecast refreshes by itself.
Weather outdated (…) - refreshing when possible The weather is several hours old and a newer one has not arrived yet. Check the connection, then leave the Forecast tab and open it again.
No weather data yet - bite score uses tide & sun/moon only No weather could be loaded for this place. Check the connection and open the tab again. If it stays, try a point nearby.

There is nothing to pull or tap to refresh: the app loads fresh weather when you open the forecast, when you return to the app and when the connection comes back.

A section is empty

The app says Cause
Tide data isn't available for this area yet. There is no tide data for this point β€” usual on inland waters. The bite score is worked out without the tide.
no wave data / no water temperature data There is no sea data for this point β€” usual on inland waters.
no wind data / no temperature data / Pressure data isn't available for this day. The weather for this day could not be loaded. See the line at the bottom of the forecast.
A dash (β€”) in the ring of a day There is not enough data to rate that day.
A faded ring on a day The day was scored without weather β€” from the tide, sun and moon only.

"No strong windows today"

This is not an error. No part of the day scores high enough to be called a fishing window β€” for example on a windy day. Look at the Bite score bars to find the better hours, or check another day.

The forecast is for the wrong place

The forecast does not follow you: it stays on the place you chose last. Tap the button in the top right corner of the Forecast tab and choose the place again: Choose the place for the forecast

The times look wrong

All times in the forecast are the local time of the place of the forecast, not of your phone. They differ when you look at a place in another time zone.

"Choose a forecast location"

The app has no place for the forecast yet. Tap Choose location. To get the forecast for where you are, the app needs access to your location: Location does not work
