Edit a catch
- Open the catch β tap its pin on the map, or Profile β Catches and tap it.
- Tap β―, then Edit. The sheet Edit catch opens with everything filled in.
- Change what you need: the species, photos, length, weight, place, date and time, Released, your notes.
- Tap β in the top right corner.
β is grey until something has changed. To leave without saving, tap β and choose Discard.
If you change the place or the time, the conditions of the catch (tide, wind, pressure, moon and the score) are worked out again; for a moment the catch shows "Conditions will fill in shortly".
Delete a catch
- Open the catch.
- Tap β―, then Delete.
- Confirm with Delete. The app asks "Delete catch?" and warns that this removes the catch and its photos.
Or, without opening it: on the Profile tab, touch and hold the catch, then tap Delete.
The catch, its pin and the photos kept in the app are removed.
Good to know
- Deleting cannot be undone. There is no trash and no way to restore a deleted catch.
- Photos saved in your iPhone's photo library are not removed.
- Editing and deleting work without a connection and are synchronised later.
- To remove a spot instead: Open, edit or delete a spot
- To remove everything at once: Delete your data
If it does not work
"Couldn't delete catch β Your catch is still on this device. Please try again." Try once more; if it keeps happening, contact support.
