Every catch has a place and a time. The app fills them in; you can change both before saving, and later with **Edit**.

## How the app fills them in

A photo changes the place and time only if you have not set them yourself and did not start from a spot or a pin. With several photos, the earliest one is used.

Under the name of the place the app says how it was set: **Set automatically** or **Set manually**.

## Change the place

1. In the catch sheet, tap the **Location** card. **Where was this catch** opens.
2. Choose:
   - **From the photo** — shown when a photo carries a location;
   - **My current location** — shown when the app found your position;
   - **A saved spot** — pick one of your spots;
   - **Drag the map manually** — move the map under the pin and tap **Use this location**.

A catch saved within about 50 metres of one of your spots is attached to that spot automatically.

## Change the date and time

1. Drag the catch sheet up.
2. In the **When** row, tap the date or the time and choose a new one.

Past dates are fine — this is how you log a catch from an earlier trip. A date or time in the future is not accepted.

## If something looks wrong

| The app says | What it means and what to do |
|---|---|
| Locating… / Waiting for a GPS fix | The app is finding your position. Wait a moment, or tap the card and set the place yourself. |
| Location unavailable - tap to set | The app has no position. Tap the card and choose a spot or drag the map. A catch cannot be saved without a place. |
| ⚠ photo GPS unusual | The place stored in the photo is far (more than 10 km) from where your phone is. Check the place and change it if it is wrong. |

## After saving
